« Confidence drops amid geopolitical shocks and weakening market momentum
Order stock remains solid for now. Profitability holds steady. Rising labour costs are the top concern.
Following a period of recovery and stabilisation, the consultancy and engineering industry is showing growing concern about the broader geopolitical and economic environment. Instability is now expected to persist longer than initially anticipated. There is also a related, sustained and growing focus on security and defence across several markets, increasingly shaping demand patterns and project priorities. In some cases, this is creating welcome opportunities to diversify. »
