The exhibition and opening discussion, designed as a meeting point between academic research and professional practice, brought together students, professors and young professionals to question, expand and rethink how we practise architecture today.

The opening event included a panel discussion on the topic of ‘How We Practice’, co-moderated by Dr Marija MARIC (University of Luxembourg) and Ilia VOULGARI (Youngplanners OAI). Architecture students, the Architecture Students' Association and Young Planners exchanged ideas on new practices, alternative career paths and the realities of starting a career.

The exhibition presents award-winning master's theses from the University of Luxembourg and reflects a strong collective effort – from the students who prepared and set up the exhibition to the academic team and the OAI who supported the initiative.

With this first edition, Young Planners OAI continues to build bridges between institutions, generations and working methods – and looks forward to developing further platforms for exchange, experimentation and dialogue in the future.

‘Other Practices’ can be seen during normal business hours until the end of January 2026 in the Forum da Vinci, on the ground floor of the OAI.
