Result of HouseEurope! European Citizens’ Initiative “Power to Renovation”

The end of this initiative is bittersweet: though we ultimately did not reach the 1 million signature goal, we are extremely proud and grateful to have made a call for change at the volume of 82.000 voices.
That is far from failure. That is a powerful, audible, collective signal.
What Happens Next
- Official Review by The European Commission
All signatures, digital and on-paper, will be submitted for verification. This 3-month review process will bring our Initiative to an official close and result in the certified final signature count. - Continued Advocacy
Though the European Citizens' Initiative is ending, the fight for a Right to Reuse continues. Advocacy is our strength, and we're committed to carrying forward the social, economic and ecological shift in the building sector. Stay tuned for what’s next at national and local levels. Big things are coming.
